CLEARED = The applicant has no Canadian criminal record on file.
CRIMINAL RECORD(S) AS DISCLOSED CONFIRMED = This means the record(s) the applicant disclosed in the authorization process has/have been confirmed as accurate. NOT CLEAR = The applicant has criminal record(s) that were not disclosed in the authorization process. At this point, we recommend that you go back to your applicant and inform them that their Canadian criminal record search came back as Not Clear and allow the applicant an opportunity to disclose any records they may have missed. If the applicant produces records, they can be submitted again through this system for confirmation through the RCMP. If the applicant affirms that they DO NOT have any records, the applicant may submit their fingerprints to the RCMP for confirmation. The example above shows a CLEARED record.
